The 2017 Scott Hudgens “Good and Faithful Servant” Award is presented on an annual basis to an individual who has exhibited an unselfish spirit of caring for other people and a genuine interest in the community.  On April 25, 2017, at the Benefit, Gala and Awards Dinner, PCH presented this coveted award to Mr. Frank M. Circelli, a three-time cancer survivor and an innovator in the field of gemology, who has been in the gemstone business for almost 35 years.  As a Graduate Gemologist, Frank was the host of the first and original colored gemstone show on TV more than 20 years ago.  It was this experience that motivated him in 1997 to build a Shopping channel and create The Gem Shopping Network which was founded on three principles: honesty, integrity, and education.  While Frank has since sold the wholesale division of The Gem Shopping Network, he continues to share his knowledge and passion for gems through his wholesale company, Bellagem.

There is much more to Frank, however, than his success in business. As a fervent advocate of bettering Gwinnett County, he has been very generous in service on the Board of Directors of Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, as well as in his philanthropic support.  Frank was the recipient of the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation’s 2015 Legacy Award for his contributions to the award-winning Circelli Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located at the Gwinnett Women’s Pavilion in Lawrenceville.  Rainbow Village, a community where homeless families with children can find refuge in Duluth, was also the beneficiary of Frank’s big-heartedness.  In 2014 he provided the final investment to complete funding for Phase Two of their capital campaign.

Not only does Frank exhibit a genuine interest in his community, but he also inspires others to share their blessings.  In fact, he and his Another Chance Foundation graciously support an additional 15 charitable causes, including the Boy Scouts, cancer, children’s leukemia, abused women, and women and children’s sex trafficking.  We are immensely grateful to Frank for his generous financial support to Peachtree Christian Hospice and our Hospice mission.  And we are further appreciative of his leadership and service on our Board of Directors.  For Frank, the act of giving is enormously heartfelt.

Is it any wonder that the Peachtree Christian Hospice Board is extremely proud to present
Mr. Frank M. Circelli with the 2017 Scott Hudgens “Good and Faithful Servant” Award
for his many important contributions to our local community?
